Markko is made by Digitalheld.
Behind Digitalheld is Andreas Zeitler in Regensburg, Germany. Andreas has built apps and games for more than twenty years, on desktop, web, mobile, 3D and XR, and prefers native apps.
Markko exists because Markdown is everywhere now, in READMEs, notes and the plans that AI agents write, and macOS still shows it as plain text. Markko is the reader for those files: small, native, and out of the way.
